Hi! I'm Jacqueline Kincannon and I’m glad you’re here. At Heartland Counseling, my goal is to offer a steady, compassionate space where you don’t have to carry everything alone. I am an LPC‑Associate under the supervision of April West, LPC‑S, and I’m committed to supporting you with care, respect, and collaboration.
You deserve a space where you don’t have to hold everything together. At Heartland Counseling, I offer a calm, steady environment where you can slow down, breathe, and explore what’s been weighing on you. My approach is collaborative and deeply client‑centered — you bring your lived experience, and I bring clinical support, curiosity, and compassion.
I work with teens, adults, Veterans and their families, individuals in recovery, and anyone navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or major life transitions. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to start therapy, especially if you’ve spent years surviving on your own. You don’t have to do that here.
Together, we’ll build practical skills, explore patterns with gentleness, and create space for healing that feels safe, steady, and at your pace. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, your story, and the parts of yourself that deserve care.
If you’re ready to begin — or even if you’re just curious — I’m here to walk with you.
